Brad Rogers has over a decade of experience in the fitness industry helping and motivating people of all ages and fitness levels achieve success.  Brad earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in nutrition from Texas Christian University in 2000.  While at TCU, Brad was a three year letterman in baseball, and as an accomplished catcher, Brad received several honors, including the Defensive Player of the Year and the Fighting Frog Award; TCU’s most prestigious award given to the athlete who demonstrates exceptional leadership and work ethic both on and off the field.  In 2000, Brad moved to Arizona where he quickly established himself as one of the best personal trainers and catching instructors in the valley.  Brad was asked to develop a strength program for the Chicago Cubs scout team, which was made up of the top players in the state; many of whom have gone on to play at the professional level.  In order to better serve his personal training clients and to create a unique fitness environment, Brad and his wife, Tracie, opened up The BAR Fitness Studio in Ahwatukee, in 2004.  Wanting to maintain his involvement in baseball, Brad also took on the role of strength coach and catching coach for Mountain Pointe High School.  Since that time, Mountain Pointe’s program has set the Arizona state record for doubles and RBI, and the school record for homeruns in a season with 49.  Brad has also helped numerous athletes earn scholarships to compete at the collegiate level.  In 2006, Brad founded the BAR School of Athletic Performance so that he could build programs to help athletes of all ages and ability levels build strength, power, leadership, and confidence that they can directly apply to their lives on and off the field. Brad’s primary goal for the school is to teach young athletes the skills required to excel in sport and in life.  In 2007, Brad opened a new facility that includes separate space for personal training and athletic performance training, enabling the BAR team to continue to provide motivation, support, and guidance for people trying to achieve and maintain health and fitness, all while having fun.  Brad has an open door policy with all of the clientele at the BAR and he loves to share stories and celebrate success.

Dr. Tracie Rogers has been helping people and athletes realize the control they have over their performance in life and in sport for many years.  As a result, she has been influential in challenging people to achieve success on and off the field.  Tracie received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Arizona and went on to earn her Ph.D. in Kinesiology, with focus on sport and exercise psychology, from Arizona State University, in 2003.  She works with athletes, individuals, and businesses teaching them to become more efficient, more assertive, and ultimately more successful.  Tracie also works with coaches and teams of young athletes, providing guidance on how to create an age appropriate athletic environment that focuses on having fun, learning, and of course achieving success.  In addition to her consulting, Tracie is a faculty member for the American Council on Exercise where she creates courses and serves as a subject matter expert for curriculum development and continued education.  Tracie speaks nationally to fitness professionals on the creation of exercise environments that promote long term adherence.  Tracie is passionate about getting people moving and helping them incorporate physical activity into their daily lives.  Her teaching philosophies focus on the connection between the mind and body and the consequences of one’s thoughts on behavior.  Working with her husband, Brad, Tracie has been able to create a comfortable and non-threatening exercise environment that encompasses support, knowledge, and motivation.   Tracie believes that the BAR Personal Training Studio and School of Athletic Performance is truly a unique place to work out!
